Pink Lemonade for Peace!

On June 14th Jon and Jayden held the first Pink Lemonade for Peace. It was a great success. $170 in cash donations was raised, and to date $21,000 has been raised total (including cash donations). You can donate online here. Keep your eyes peeled for the next event coming your way soon! We have a lot more planned to raise money for Planting Peace; some art prints of the piece below, and possibly some t-shirts and we're working on getting a children's book made based on Jayden's story!

The day was filled with sun, music, love, heat, and compassion. The highlight of the day was when about 15 motorcyclists came by to buy some lemonade. They happened to be active soldiers stationed at Fort Riley military base. They hung out for quite a while and definitely showed their support for FRESHCASSETTE and Planting Peace!

The Equality House is located directly across from the Westboro Baptist Church, the House is a symbol of equality, peace, and positive change. The house, which is painted the colors of the Pride flag, serves as the resource center for all Planting Peace equality and anti-bullying initiatives and will stand as a visual reminder of our commitment, as global citizens, to equality for all.
